Was about a 7 hour drive, left super early Friday and got in Friday afternoon. Set up camp and had a nice dinner.
Saturday we got up early, geared up and drove in to "Bike and Bean" bike/coffee shop. A local there goes by the name of "Duff" offered to take us and another guy from Canada to show us the trails. We went out and had a blast.
Did 10 miles the first day and about 11 the 2nd day. I think this is what mountain biking is all about. Those trails were the most fun I have been on and the scenery is pretty amazing.
The weather got a little cold at night, freezing actually, but it was such a fun trip.
Riding on my "new to me" Rock Shox Recon was WAY nicer than the old fork. Front end was much smoother.
